Cameraman
With nearly forty years of experience, Bob is a great asset
to any filming shoot. He really has been there, done that! John
Suchet worked with Bob at ITN. His autobiography 'One More Shot,
Bob' recalls the time when he was reporting on the Russian invasion
of Afghanistan in 1980. Just seconds before he and Bob were
arrested and lined up against a wall, where they feared they
would be shot as spies, John writes: "We had got some good
shots of Russian tanks and Bob had said 'Let's go.' But, stupidly,
I suggested we carry on filming. Luckily we all got out alive
and I learned my lesson."
Doherty Associates always takes Bob's advice.
